IFSEC International 2016: Comelit among the leaders in security

IFSEC International, the most important European event in the security sector calendar, was held at the prestigious London ExCel, which welcomed over 600 exhibitors from all over the world.
Comelit’s exclusively Italian style was immediately apparent in the elegant design of the stand, created by Habits studio of Milan, which for three days played host to a numerous and diverse public with a shared interest in the inherent technology and design of Comelit products.
In addition to solutions for video surveillance and anti-intrusion, plenty of stand space was allocated to door entry monitor systems, Comelit’s core business since its commenced operation 60 years ago. With the multiple possibilities afforded by the ViP digital system, everything is made that much simpler: from installation work, to integration of door entry monitors with home automation, anti-intrusion and video surveillance systems.  Comelit’s aim is to make residences ever more secure and to enhance the comfort of their occupants, with simple, intuitive controls that can also be managed from a smartphone.
To complement their cutting edge technology, Comelit devices feature minimalist, multi-award winning design: from the Quadra external unit to the Mini, Mini Handsfree, Icona and Maxi internal monitors, all of which were on display and enthusiastically received by the IFSEC public.
The Focus of this year’s edition of IFSEC was the Smart Home, a concept explored through a series of conferences, including a presentation by Comelit in its capacity as a leading authority in the field. Ross Wilkins, Business Development Manager of Comelit Group UK, illustrated the evolution of door entry monitor systems in the modern smart home and the significant benefits of IP technology in the quest for homes that are more beautiful, more comfortable and totally secure.
